What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is by 11:00. Check-in is contactless — after booking, complete the form we send you and your door code and Wi-Fi details will follow automatically, so late arrivals after 15:00 are no problem.

Can I keep my bicycle indoors?

Yes. The glass-fronted doma on the ground floor is a cycle garage with floor-standing space for up to 4 bicycles. A floor pump, hex wrenches, tire levers and local route notes are provided.

I'm not travelling with a bike — is the stay still for me?

Two complimentary cross bikes are yours to use. From the east exit of Shimizu Station, past the port and out to the Miho no Matsubara pine grove, is about 8 km one way on flat roads.

How many bikes can we bring?

The garage holds 4 bicycles, floor-standing. Two spaces are normally taken by our rental bikes, leaving room for 2 guest bicycles. Bringing 3 or more? Let us know before booking and we will move the rentals into storage.

Is there parking?

There is no on-site parking. When arriving by car, please use a nearby coin parking lot (around 400 yen per day).

Is there a bathtub?

Yes, the bathroom has a bathtub. After a long day on the bike, you can soak and rest your legs.

Is there a washing machine?

Yes, there is a washing machine in the house — useful if you are riding over several days or staying for a longer stretch.

How many guests can stay?

The whole house is yours — up to 5 guests, one group per day. Solo travellers are welcome.

How far is Shimizu Station?

Seven minutes on foot from JR Shimizu Station, on the old Tokaido in the middle of town.
